Q: Can you provide me with an estimate over the phone?
A: We cannot provide an estimate over the phone. Every pool needs to be evaluated in person in order to physically see the condition of the pool and get accurate measurements. We provide free estimates and will never pressure you to commit to signing a contract with us. We can schedule a convenient time for you to have our sales representative come out and take a look at the pool.
Q: Do you have to drain the pool to resurface it?
A: Yes! In order to resurface the pool, it does have to be drained.
Q: Can we save the water from the pool and use it to refill the pool?
A: No. Unfortunately, we cannot save the water that’s in the pool. It is always a good thing to use new water when re-filling at the end of the renovation in order to start fresh with the new surface and curing process.
Q: Can I use a water truck to re-fill the pool?
A: Yes! The pool can be filled by water trucks but usually the cost to truck in the water is much higher than the cost of just using your hose city water. If the only source to re-fill the pool at home is well water, it is strongly advised to get water trucked in to avoid staining, additional costs in chemical start up and a faster chemistry balance time frame.
Q: Is Siesta Pebble Licensed and Insured?
A: Yes! We are licensed and insured. We can provide you with a Certificate of Insurance. Our license number is CPC1456932.
Q: I do not want my pool to pop of out of the ground. Should I wait until a certain time of year to get my pool renovated?
A: Siesta provides pool renovations and interior finishes for new construction year-round. We are trained professionals and take the necessary steps to properly secure the pool and prevent it from popping out of the ground on every pool renovation we perform whether the pool has ground water or not. We do carry insurance for pool popping.
Q: Should I wait until rainy season is over to renovation my pool?
A: We suggest adding a few days to the overall downtime of your pool renovation to allow for rain delays if you are worried that rain may delay the renovation. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather and are unable to predict the forecast so the possibility of rain delaying the schedule is high during rainy season. We try our best to stay on schedule, but if you are worried about rain delays you may consider waiting until the rainy season is over to schedule the renovation.
Q: Do you take deposits?
A: No! We want you to feel comfortable working with us, so we provide a payment draw schedule on every estimate we give. When you sign your contract, we will not take any deposits. We will provide you with a scheduled start date and will explain when we expect each payment to be collected.
Q: How long will my pool renovation take?
A: Every pool renovation is different. Time of year, scope of work and material availability all determine how long the renovation will take. A simple tile and interior upgrade can usually be completed in a week and a full backyard renovation could take up to 6-8 weeks.
Q: My pool is leaking. Will a resurface take care of the leak?
A: Depending on where the leak is located, a new surface may or may not take care of the problem. It is always advised to get a leak detection performed prior to getting the pool renovation in order to determine the exact location of the leak and to determine what is needed in order to fix the leak.
Q: Do you have to take off my existing surface first before putting a new surface down?
A: Depending on the state of your existing surface, it is a possibility that we may have to remove the existing surface(s) on the pool shell before applying our surface. If we can properly bond our surface to your existing surface without the concern of delamination, we will not remove the existing surface(s).
Q: How much does a swimming pool renovation cost?
A: Depending on your backyard dreams and budget the costs will vary. A simple renovation of new tile and Pebble Tec surface is fairly inexpensive, however will bring the WOW factor to your backyard!
